Borrowing Terms

The blue-suited attendant runs a tiny rental desk for projects that need instant lunar credibility. He checks the craters, reinforces the stick, and sends the same moon back under the lights. Every return is judged by one rule: the beige tape must still be doing its job.

Camera Ready Hold the stick upright; the crater side faces the launch photographer.

Shared Orbit Different projects borrow it. Nobody gets a newer moon.

Safe Return Scuffs are acceptable. Missing tape is considered structural damage.

Rental Route

The moon leaves the cupboard, poses beside a hopeful rocket, then comes straight back. No polishing, upgrades, or alternate phases are available. The attendant records each handoff on the same strip of masking tape and waits for the next project to call.
